This summer I was able to attend a model fitting at Little White Dress Bridal Shop. This was my first time at their new location and I was just blown away! They have a BEAUTIFUL space in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver. If you are in the market for a wedding dress, make sure to make an appointment to try on some dresses at their new shop!

I recently met up with the fabulous Erica, owner of the wedding-planning company Colorado Occasions. She has an absolute passion for planning weddings and we had a great chat together!! I decided to drill her with a few questions so we could get to know her and this was her responses:
1. What is your favorite type of food?
I love Asain Food. If I could eat it every day I would. I also seem to have a hard time staying away from Reese Peanut Butter Cups...
2. Other than wedding-planning, what are some of your hobbies?
I would have to say (when Im not playing with my two pups, Sadie and Murphy), you can find me cooking, or enjoying a good movie. I cherish Sunday's during football season (Go Broncos!) and during the summer's you will find me outdoors camping and hiking 14ner's.
3. What kind of music is currently on your ipod?
I would say Im rather musically eclectic... I listen to everything fom the Doobie Brothers, to Jack Johnson, Tim McGraw, Eminem, to Lady Gaga. It really depends on my mood!
4. Why did you decide to go into business as a wedding planner?
I have always been a planner, and super organized. No detail is too small in my eyes. Whether it was our high school groups senior play day - to my best friends surprise birthday party in college - to charity kickball tournaments - you could always find me laboring over the details of the next shin-dig. I was offered an opportunity to work with a premier planner in Tampa, and I took the opportunity with guns blazing. I feel madly in love with weddings and the event planning industry...and Wha-la! Here I am today starting my second company here in Colorado.
5. Why should a bride and groom hire a wedding planner?
Who wouldn't want to be a guest of honor at their wedding? In all seriousness, hiring a planner is an investment. One that will save you precious time and prevents you from making costly mistakes. We are professionals, (with experience, education, and expertise in all things wedding) and we may just have a few tricks up our sleeves when it comes to getting the best vendors for your day. I really strive to be a resource, a wealth of knowledge, for my couples, I work for you!
6. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you visit?
The Mediterranean. I cant wait until I get the chance to visit Greece and Italy.
7. What is one of your favorite unique touches you've seen at a wedding?
My favorite part of a wedding, is when the personality of the couple shines through (Im talking more than colors and monograms here). One of the most memorable and unique weddings I participated in was a Gothic Mad Hatter Tea Party, with cup cakes served in tea cups!

I first met Ellen, owner of Helliemae's Salt Caramels, through the wonderful CRAVE organization. And, when I heard she was having her spring caramel-tasting party, I just had to swing by for awhile. Caramels might be one of my favorite candy of all time and add it to an apple and you got me!
My mom and Ryland came with me to the tasting. There were Jasmine caramels, coffee flavor and of course the classic salt caramel. She makes everything locally in Denver, so check out her website and find her here on Facebook HERE!!

As mentioned in Part 1 of the Anna Be post, today will be a little tour of the actual bridal boutique. Their store is located at 1575 Boulder Street in Denver. They have a beautiful staircase entry and exposed brick throughout the store, it is stunning. Make sure to call for an appointment if you are interested in trying on dresses. Here is a link to their website: Anna Be Bridal Boutique. Enjoy the images!

Last weekend I was invited to photograph the Stephanie James Couture truck show at Anna Be' Bridal. In case you do not know what a trunk show is, it is when the dress designer actually comes to the bridal store and helps any brides that are interested in purchasing their dresses. Stephanie flew over from Southern California and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their dresses are amazing!
I have seen some amazing photos of the Anna Be', but never had a chance to visit until last weekend. I took so many fun images, that this will actually be a two-part post. On Monday, I will post some images of the actual store-front, along with a fun magazine I put together for the store. For today's post, I was able to document some brides in their search for the perfect bridal dress, enjoy the images!

Kelli Crannell says:
Beautiful images! You really capture the precious moments of a once in a lifetime event! I was just there with a bride! Unbelieveable service and atmosphere!
