So, I posted a quick picture of Dawn and Dave's Bridal shoot last week, but have finally finished the rest of them, YEAH!!  We seriously had a BEAUTIFUL day, which can be hit or miss in Seattle.  To give you a little history, Dawn is my sister and I was unable to attend her wedding, due to my work schedule, so I call her up and asked if she could put her dress back on so I could take some pictures.  Thankfully, she said yes and I made the trek up to Seattle.  We shot for about 45 minutes at Discovery Park.

I have to give some MAJOR props to KimArt, who designed Dawn's FABRIC bouquet.  It was BEAUTIFUL!!!  She sells some awesome items on her Etsy shop, so go and check it out!!  :-)

On with the pics...

WHOA!!  I am LOVIN' this picture!!  If you've never been to Seattle (on a sunny day), you must go!  Probably one of the prettiest cities in the United States.  At one point in my life, I tried to live in Seattle, but the gloominess of 8-9 months out of the year quickly moved me back to Spokane (then Phoenix, then Denver).

I went to Seattle last weekend to take some bridal portraits of my sister, Dawn.  As mentioned in my previous post, I was unable to attend her wedding, so I made her put her dress back on so I could snap some images on a PERFECT night at Discovery Park in Seattle.  This is where we also shot her engagement photos.  This image is pretty much SOOC (straight out of the camera)...one slight tweet in levels and it was done!

Anyway, I was just quickly looking through her images and had to post this asap!  More will be posted once I get my Winter Park style shoot online.

ENJOY your long weekend! (GO COUGS!)

OK, so after the formal pictures were done at Firesky in Scottsdale, my second-shooter, Jeanette, and the wedding party hopped on the party bus to Inspirador.  Jeanette captured some awesome moments on the bus, looks like a BLAST!!

If you'd like to see all the vendors involved in their wedding, please visit my PART 1, my previous post.  :-)

Once we got to the venue, it was BEAUTIFUL!!!  I LOVED Andrea and Craig's colors!!  The fun thing about shooting with two photographers are the different perspectives we get when looking at a certain object.  The cake is a GREAT example!  The image on the left is Jeanette's, which was probably shot with her wide-angle lens.  The image on the right is mine and was shot with my 85mm lens.  Two different looks, I LOVE it!

About a week and a half ago I went back to Phoenix to shoot the wedding of Andrea and Craig.  I have so many awesome things to say about this couple...they are kind, so much in-love, flippin' hilarious, made for each other and down-right rad people.  I was so thankful to be a part of their special day!

I met Andrea at a Phoenix Bridal Fair about 2+ years ago and she actually nannied for one of my good friends in Spokane, WA.  I am so glad she came up and introduced herself!!  She now works at Inspirador, so brides, if you need a wedding venue in the Phoenix area, give her a jingle, you'll be in good hands!

There were so many fun pictures in this wedding, I had to make it a two-parter.  Part two will be bus ride (won't want to miss these pics), ceremony and reception.  Here are the awesome vendors who made Andrea and Craig's day go off without a hitch:

Photographers:  Keri Doolittle Photography, assisting me were Jeanette LeBlanc Photography and Janet Bruun Photography (THANKS LADIES!!)
Accomodations:  Firesky Resort
Venue:  Inspirador

Andrea and Craig opted for a first-look before the ceremony, which makes the wedding timeline flow flawlessly, I love it!!

Rami Carter says:

I love the sassiness of this bride. Also Keri is so true about the first look with a couple. I also think as a planner, that even more than the timeline is the speical moment you get together. I think it is so romantic for them to see each other while they have time to acutally grasp what is going on and embrace the moment.

(08.31.10 @ 03:52 PM)
Debbie, mother of the groom says:

Keri, You have captured the essence of our kids! Love them all!
